“Just tell me about the lawyer.” (…)~ 6. fejezet
“She was angry with me,” he finally said with a smile, thinking that was the best way to sum up their experience.
“Angry with you?” Jeremy paused, mulling this over. “And you haven’t even had sex with this one yet.” Then he considered the source. “Have you?”
Jason threw him a look. “This wasn’t angry like ‘But didn’t those three nights in London mean anything to you?’ angry.”
She was expected to smile politely and apologize to him.~ 8. fejezet
Hopefully Jason Andrews knows the Heimlich, Taylor thought to herself. Because she most definitely was going to choke on her words.
In terms of media exposure, the only thing worse than dating nobody was dating a nobody.~ 9. fejezet
If looks could kill right then, Jason had no doubt he would’ve been lying flat on the ground with an expression of wide-eyed shock on his face and a twelve-inch hatchet lodged deep in his forehead.~ 11. fejezet
“Does anyone ever say ‘no’ to you?” she asked him resignedly.~ 18. fejezet
“No. But if it makes you feel any better, you try a lot harder than anyone else."
~ 19. fejezet"I can’t think straight. Something’s off.”
“Did you sleep last night?”
“Barely.”
“Are you mad at Taylor?”
“Yes. Definitely.”
Jeremy leaned against the pool table and lit up a cigarette as Jason racked the balls for a game. “Do you have any right to be?”
Jason glared at Jeremy for this. But after a moment, his expression softened. “Probably not,” he acknowledged.
Jeremy nodded, rubbing his four-day stubble like a detective on the case.
“Yep, I’ve seen these symptoms before . . .” he mused. “I believe it’s called ‘jealousy.’ Something common men unlike yourself experience from time to time.”
“Yeah, well, it sucks,” Jason replied pissily.
"(…) She tells me you two are business associates.”
Jeremy, who had been standing next to Jason during this exchange, whistled low under his breath.
“Business associates? Ouch. That’s worse than friends.”
Tremors in the force that is Jason Andrews.~ 20. fejezet
“Jealous of Scott Casey? Please.” He got a good laugh out of this. “Hey—if you find him interesting, Taylor, more power to you. I also know a nice box of rocks you could cuddle up with, if that’s your thing.”~ 21. fejezet
"I just met with Marty—we got back the mock-ups for the new publicity posters the studio’s going to use to promote Inferno.” (…)
“And get this,” he fumed angrily, “the dumbasses who designed the posters have me pictured in this scene where I’m putting out a fire with all these other firemen. But if you look at the poster from the side, the water from the hose of one of the other firefighters looks like it’s shooting right out of my crotch. And the best part is, they want to put this poster over the theater entrance for the premiere. I can just see it—” He gestured grandly to the air. “ ‘Come see Inferno! Get pissed on by Jason Andrews!’”
